The company said that they're participating in a RFP to replace a CRJ 700. Not sure what RFP stands for . And virtual bases one may be in Knoxville Tennessee? Who knows.

True but it's gotten new life as the threat from foreign carrier acquisition to get around fa unions contract came up resently. Beside the point this ran off on a tangent on me a bit I only pointed to it because if a buy were coming in the near future there would be rumblings, potentially. There are none at least not that my other half has herd and she is pretty tuned into the union and training department happenings. Feel free to disregard anything I've said just an opinion based on the best info I have I thought I'd share.

Loaded question what do y'all think the odds are of this place surviving . I've been told there's a mass exit on both sides . Me personally I don't think the DFW base will be around .

Unless it’s a ton of FO’s bailing the attrition on the ERJ side isn’t crazy. 07 hire date and I move up 10-20 a month. No clue on the CRJ side.

I imagine the ERJ side is 60 a month

Look for a complete shutdown by summer 2018. To many people leaving and only a few misinformed new hires coming in. When January rolls around you will see a mass exodus due to the bonus pay outs. Probably start seeing downgrades February or March then wind down around July or August. This is for the entire company ERJ and CRJ.

I think now to February will be telling. The absence of any management communications after the DAL Mack Truck announcement up until yesterday has not instilled confidence. Frankly, I’m not sure what they expected. If you give employees years of bad news, broken hopes and promises they lose hope.

In today’s environment of large signing bonuses and immediate upgrades these employees have options, especially those with little seniority to lose in the process of a lateral move. For a 30 something to flush 5-10 years seniority and start over at another regional is not a big deal.

We shall see. 😟
