It can happen, United can do anything they want.... Xjt got a CPP and didnt included the asa side or skw... didnt hear a peep from anyone about that because United is in control and if they want to do it then they will do it. Also, if it ever did come down to a buyout you think skw management will turn down a nice deal to free themselves from XJT and all the investors be happy?! Of course they won't turn it down!!

ASA deserves something good. I hope something good happens.

Screw SKYW! They did nothing but bleed value from the very day they bought the company. Despite all their lip service, there never was any kind of plan to do anything other than a classic pump and dump.

Every dog has its day. SKYW will be in the same boat eventually. Gonna be real tough to compete with the super junior seniority lists at most regionals now. No sympathy from me when they can no longer be competitive. (Any pilot who thinks SKYW is anything special is a complete idiot. Regional flying is a losing game, been proven over and over that it’s no place for a career.)

Like we care what those MFs do or say. They get a free ride as a result of our ability to negotiate without paying any dues. They get the “XJT+$1” deal on everything we negotiate. You can’t keep getting something for nothing. I hope we get bought and combined with Commute Air. Then watch as the planes start to drift back our direction as SKW shrivels on the vine.

We might not care, but you can bet your bottom dollar that Inc management doesn't want to upset their gravy train of gullibility over there.

Probably too little too late, but Terry’s latest update discusses the possibility of virtual bases.

This would be a good thing if it ever happens.

I think UAL is a fantasy that has been going around since Alex was here. Too many obstacles, starting with Inc wanting too much money to sell us. One rumor is that DAL wanted to buy us back but Inc demanded too much money in return. Chip isn’t stupid. He knows what the long term effect of selling XJT to UAL would mean. He’s probably want some assurance about future flying.
Would probably be easier and cheaper to just purchase CommuteAir and dump some money into them.

Im of the opinion the Ual buy rumor is only to sucker a few more to hang on long enough for stINC hire a few more suckers. To eventually take the rest of the asa flying. There really is nothing other than that hope they can bait with. Very close source 20yr fa at Ual former cal says their union hasn't said anything about a new merge, not that they would but I have asked for a look out on that front. For what it's worth.
