From 2010, ASA MEC and NC proceeded to ruin two great airlines and thousands of careers. Thanks T.M., thanks C.M. hope your greed and obstructionism was worth it.
Perhaps L-XJT might recover together with what's left of ASA. Either way the damage is done, careers are harmed if not ruined and the proverbial rats have fled the sinking ship.

Its very sad to see what they did to their own airline and LXJT.

Yeah, TM was a piece of work. Unfortunately it took time for us to realize it, then more time to get rid of him. I knew something was amiss when I asked why we were not following ALPA National bylaws and US Department of Labor laws on reporting MEC leadership pay and was attacked for having the temerity to do so and was told that his pay was none of my business. Huh??? Well, we found out why he was blocking things as a merger would have jeopardized his gravy train.
He's no longer on property and I think we have very good leadership now who has the interests of the pilots ahead of his own. He was a pretty good CP as well. If you ever have the chance to meet him or hear him talk do so.
Unfortunately, it may be too late to save the ship.

^^^^^THIS^^^^^

He did great damage to this great company. Several others are to blame and some that allowed it to happen. Never blindly follow a union or any of it's "leaders". It's a shame what we allowed to happen.

True, T.M. is not some marvel comics supervillian. There are others, (some still present) who were complicit in the selfish destruction of pilot's careers.

They have all been purged. The current MEC has a very good relationship with the LXJT side.

Not at ASA anymore, but always thought TM was a good guy. Man was I a fool. Sorry to hear of how it turned out. Never did care for CM nor trusted him. Anyway, a shame to see ASA dissolve. So, who is the MEC Chair now?

looks like with the amount of pilots leaving this place we will be shut down by summer. so sad.......:-( If United does buy us the only way to save this place is to offer a flow not a interview.

I doubt that would ever be allowed to happen. Can you imagine the hissy fit that the golden children at SKW would throw if the union side of the house had such a windfall?
