I don't think ASA will ever be out of a job. There's totally a need for regional pilots elsewhere. No trolling here though. My second paragraph is deduced. But if any of you guys hadn't put extra effort in leaving the regionals, I should like to think that ASA folks are now because I truly believe the airline is on the way out. For good.

Think regionals are "hunkering" down for the next 5 years of mass hiring.. Compass focusing on the West is the first sign.. i see consolidation happening.. but inter company... TSH merger juat like Repubic did.. SkyWest and ASA doing the same once LXJT is figured out... i bet it would have already been done had XJT not happened.

Compass is probably on the chopping block. They own nothing of their own. It's just a workforce. If they begin to have staffing issues (don't know their situation), there's no point keeping them around as OO can easily cover their flying.

Whatever you guys do don't come to Spirit. Things suck here bad. Wish I stayed at XJT. Made 25k on first year pay here and now management is heading us down the road to an eventual strike. Just want to warn you guys Spirit is a lateral move if not backwards. Put all your efforts into getting on with a real airline. Avoid Spirit and Frontier
