I agree, why practice. Since you can bid in 5% increments, you know where you will fall out at worst. Want to know what kind of lines you can hold, just look at the last few monthly bid awards and see what the guys at your seniority are holding.

To try to get a very rough idea of where you will fit percentage wise. Gives me a chance to look at the lines guys my seniority are holding in specific seats. It is not perfect because the top 100 guys like to pretend the are going to bid 75 Rt seat. I guess they are too old to get their jollies elsewhere .
