How is that helping the company. It funny you’re picking on that and not holding the union accountable for the pancake plan and other sections of last contract which are still not implemented.

NO PANCAKES PERIOD
you are delusional on this one, anytime you fly a draft trip you are helping the company. It’s the reason it pays 1.5!

I really don’t get how guys think that’s helping the company. If you’re flying the same BLG. It. Is not. If anything it’s helping them more by picking it up in the view add window at straight pay. I don’t know what planet some of you live on. And it’s not even selfish. Lol. Picking it up in view add is the company preferred method.

protecting carryover is also helping the company. And at straight pay. Dumb dumbs.

maybe we should all conflict as much as possible and fly 50 hours BLG. Hell. Maybe 0 hours. That’s the ticket.

I still don’t get it, how is flying your BLG the same as flying extra? You’re flying the exact same trip, not a second more.

So if you don't pick up that trip how will the company staff it?

You’re very hard of understanding, let me try explaining again. Say I be training in Dec which conflicts with my 92hr trip. I now have to make that up in the view add window. Now trips A B and C are the ones which fits my schedule. Instead of picking it in the view add window at straight pay, I wait and get the same exact trip at 150%. How is that helping the company when I would have done it at straight time like you and Nowolk are suggesting? Either way I’m going to fly that trip. The question is do I do it at straight pay or 150%?

Or I can pick up a 63hr trip at 150% work less for the same pay and the company now have a 92hr trip to cover. Instead of being gone for 13days I’m now gone for 8days and get paid the same.

It is astounding how many professional/intelligent pilots we have that can’t wrap their heads around this! Thinking outside the box is OK guys! Give it a shot
