All they care about is a bump in their retirement. Good thing is we've gotten rid of most of these company men/women losers within ALPA. Just a few more to go. But it is entertaining watching them try to grasp on to the old FDX ALPA that was willing to bend over for anything and everything.

Now maybe we're going about this all wrong. Is there another way besides scope???

If the company mandates employee standards and can fire us for violating those standards, might there be a multi-billion dollar class action lawsuit option where the employees are the harmed group. We are grievously harmed when non-employees pose as employee and bring harm to the brand. The company has mandated these standards are the minimum requirements to achieve the corporate mission and maximize profitability. IF the jobs are outsourced and not performed at the standard previously achieved, then our brand is being harmed. And by extension we are being harmed. The employees are the brand, if we were not then there would not be any company mandated appearance, dress, uniform, etc standards. They cannot have it both ways.

Talk amongst yourselves....

There is no try: Please look into our Titan division where they will be happy to lease them out if available. Definitely a way for any company to work things out with capital nothing new. An attachment to our ACMI - crew it yourself or not they will meet your needs.

Old News example -

Scope, beyond what we have on the books (protecting the RLA area of ops) is a pipe dream and a fools errand. We will not be get anything near what some want so hopefully the proposal that is already on the table from the new scope committee is achievable. Grab much better data reports and do our best to prevent any type of job loss (furlough) against wet lease (for covered flying).

If purple pilots think we will bargain a scope clause that will increase our job footprint, beyond what the company will ordinarily do under their current business practices, we will all get tired, greyer and losing money waiting. No way we ever get released, maybe the NMB gets some pressure from the Flight Attendants unions but bottom line the NMB is a nasty governmental agency that serves business owners and the public, not employees.
IPA has fought to enforce their scope, and they won against UPS.

You are right though, FDX will die on this hill.... at our feet.

Ahhh yes, the unofficial motto of the silent majority. If this is the case, why even have a union at all?

ASL isn't a US operator.
ASL isn't a US operator (yet, at least).

Atlas Air, Sun Country, MESA, and Kalitta Charters II are though, and Kalitta Charters II has been running this charter for FedEx since August 1, the day the new TA was supposed to take effect.

The company says it's because we can't get the route authority. So how did Kalitta Charters II get it and we can't? We get route authority (often last minute) to run charter flight and scheduled operations all over the world yet can't seem to get it in Honduras while some YIP-based charter company can? If it looks like BS, smells like BS, and tastes like BS, it probably is BS.

Wow, Second swing and a miss. Atlas has 8, get it 8 737 freighters, leased to Amazon. Hardly enough in any way to fly FedEx domestic freight. Do you guys actually read anything but just post false info?
