And it’s a good point. The more people who have experience with this guy want to share the better.

He most certainly made his point. Problem is you may not be getting the point. statements like this seem to reinforce that.

He has some magic wand that circumvents the CBA? The company always interpreted the CBA to their advantage, you think this guy is going to do it any different? And he's the CFO not CEO.
You have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. Like seriously none. I would urge you to educate yourself on the exploits of this man. He could very well be the CEO here in short order. That was his seat progression at Atlas and those of us who were there don't have to be told how bad this will get.

This is so typical of too many pilots at Fedex. Any number of them will explain to you why something cannot or will not be done, because of how the company elects to operate. Never mind if said thing is efficient, beneficial, or appropriate. They will just mouth words about system form and flexibility. Exhibit A of this is the roadshows and NC videos. They are full of here's what you guys really wanted here's why the company says you cannot have it followed by a powerpoint slide making the case visually. Or we asked for something and the company said no, end of.

The smartest play forget a “Strike vote” instead get a 100% vote to terminate JD or no deal on ANY T/A send a message to the industry that the Lorenzo era is dead!

That’s the money play to save FedEx

Yes, he does and he will. My career has also cross paths with this piece of work. He'll ORDER departments to intentionally circumvent the CBA. Why? Because he knows we "fly now, grieve later". The iron moves, he gets his bonus, greviences stack up, our QOL suffers. This job will never be the same.

I'm stil thinking this is a just a bad dream. We need to wake up!

grievances don't stack up here.

Ever tried to file a grievance? I'm not sure ALPA Contract Enforcement even reads your email before deleting it.

Anything, and I mean anything in the TA that has weak language will be picked apart by this guy. If you cannot see why he was brought on as CFO than I guess we all know now, why you are voting yes.

Then you’ll be plenty busy unstacking them. JD left a parting gift of 111 grievances at 5Y, over half planned to go the Arbitrator. Over contract scheduling, travel and monetary provisions his management won’t implement two years after signing and/or deny everyday. To him a CBA isn’t worth the paper it’s written on, to be ignored per his directives to all your departments if it costs money or convenience to the company. Mr Dietrich will walk right up to the line of a major dispute and sit back while the metal keeps moving, FDX saves millions and the pilot group spends years in the grievance system fighting for every line and even individual words in your next CBA. That’s his modus operandi.

You didn't understand my post. Our Union doesn't waste their precious time grieving things that should be grieved. They just blow us off.
