Most of that list is beyond petty. Sure some of it is factual, but most of it makes the SM look mild and that’s saying something. Im junior at purple and have my issues with what’s going on, but good God almighty that poster needs to see a mental health care professional. Purple is this posters first 121 airline and it shows.
As purple have a very high number of people who came straight from the military with no 121 time, this post doesn't surprise me at all.
Being ex military myself I can see how the "firm grip on the non essential" creeps into operations.
In the navy I remember briefings that seemingly went for hours that could have been done in 5 mins.

He's upset that guys do a radio call that the AIM says "should" be done "at all times" ?
I doubt all his problems stem from other pilots...AIM 5-3-3. Additional Reports
a. The following reports should be made to ATC or FSS facilities without a specific ATC request:
1. At all times.
(a) When vacating any previously assigned altitude or flight level for a newly assigned altitude or flight level.

And now he's your's (or your former co-workers' since I believe you've retired...congrats, if so!), Delta's or United's problem.
$20 says he's not happy there either.

To me that seemed like a pretty reasonable list of gripes.

His gripes about management and how the place is being run are fair, but welcome to corporate America LOL.
Imagine being so angry that you feel the need to go on a petty apc diatribe of that length. I can guarantee the poster is that way about everything in life. I would hate to serve this guy coffee at Starbucks.

It is kind of annoying that the FO never gets any experience loading the FMC. I remember one day the captain was running super late and I was trying to load the FMC and having to thumb through the training manuals to figure out how to do it again since I hadn’t done it since that one time in initial ITU.
