I get such a kick out of the 60+ crowd saying "it's been two years and no progress". Want to know why there's no "progress"? Because you folks think that somehow, some way the junior guys are eventually going to cave in to a concessionary contract with below industry pay and back pay and scope concessions. It's not going to happen. Watching the NC do GOD'S WORK while you people sit there and complain about them got old months ago. Now we just sit back and watch you retire one by one on contract 2015. But you got a pound of flesh on a What's App texting group!
Here's another one. We are 700 pilots lighter on the seniority list, but the contract continues to be valued the same as 2023 by the company and NMB. Gee wiz, that's unusual.
You old guys that got the pension increase dangled in front of you have a choice. Get behind what's happening so everyone can be taken care of, or you will continue to drop like flies on the 2015 contract. It's very straight forward. As the lovely people on the SM text group say "it's just business", right? Well, there's your "business decision". Leave on 2015, or get with the program. Because you aren't a majority. Ok, bye.

Actually quite to the contrary. 90% of the pilot group was asleep while PM and his boys tried to rob the bank. Crazy they would even put something like TA 1.0 in front of us quite honestly. But here's the difference between you and me - I am happy you might get a pension bump and happy to vote to keep that increase from TA 1.0. But that increase isn't coming on the backs of our work rules, pay, and scope. You may want to think about who you're calling "one way" my man.

They've so successfully annoyed a large part of the pilot group over the years with their pithy little comments and their “all for me, none for you” approach to TA .9, a lot of us would vote no again just out of spite.

I would ask you and everyone to stop arguing and row in the same direction, and try to have some semblance of unity, but that will never happen. The truth is, Tuck, that you and a good minority of the crew force will gladly vote yes on anything put before you so long as it has a pension bump and maybe a small pay raise. They could shut this place down and furlough everyone in exchange for $30K a year extra and you would vote yes. That’s the fundamental issue and that’s why we will
never be fully unified at this airline. Go ahead and recall the MEC and delay a new retirement another few years.
