Took the screen name of a communist dictator?
From Wikipedia ... Human rights organizations and activists have accused him of human rights violations and crackdowns on civil dissent or opposition, as well as ordering assassinations of his critics and opponents; he has denied accusations of authoritarianism and human rights abuses. Officials of the United States government have accused him of leading an interference program against Hillary Clinton in support of Donald Trump during the U.S. presidential election in 2016, which he has frequently denied and criticized. Maybe you could apply for a Management job? That way you could tell them what airplane you should be a Captain in? MM In all seriousness you should take a deep breath & relax. If you get hired ask for what you'd prefer to fly. If you don't get it maybe you'll get it on a subsequent system bid. Good luck ... |

Almost exclusively Mem 75. Based on the current system bid you could expect more than half of the 2018’s to go to 75. The rest scattered about, but more in the mem MD11 and Airbus than the others.
Also, it looks like they only managed to staff the 777 to the 90% point. The other thing of note is with all the 767s they're planning on getting, throughput in the 767 training pipeline looks pretty anemic (3-4 crews per month??) |

Everyone who started last Monday all got 757s to MEM. It's interesting to note that every single one of them could hold the right seat in either the 767 or 777 in MEM on the latest practice bid.

How often do they run new hire classes per month. I’ve heard 1 or 2. Typically, how many new hires per class? Thanks |

I interviewed late last year but did not make it past day 2. The rejection email didnt mention anything about reapplying/re-interviewing again. Am I SOL or do I still stand a chance? Thanks.

That was the original idea leading up to the class, but that isn’t how it panned out. My info is a couple of days old, but the folks from that class are taking part in the system bid.

Only at Fedex is the lowly 757 looked down upon.:)

Hey everyone! I'm a newcomer to this thread, but am looking for a few opinions, as Fedex is my dream carrier(disregard the username, I was in High School).. Anyways, I am starting in the new Ameriflight Cadet program, in which they pay for all of my training, if I guarantee 3 years with them afterwards. Including the hours instructing (1200), this would get me around 3400hrs of Total flight time, with 2200hrs of guaranteed Multi-Turbine PIC time in the 1900. My question is, do you know of any guys that go right to Fedex after 135 turboprop flying? Or would I more than likely have to go somewhere else, such as Atlas, to get some actual turbofan time? It's worth noting that the Cadet program also has flow-through agreements with Frontier, Allegiant, and Omni to get some turbofan time if needed, but I prefer cargo flying personally.
Regards - Rob |
