Actually it's YGBSM (the T is silent), and no I'm not super senior. The only way I can see to fix this BOT Douchery is a seniority based system with some sort of window to place the trade (1 hr, 2 hrs, you pick it). Super senior people are not pinging open time 20 times a minute because they don't have to. I'm tired of having to break out my Captain Midnight Decoder ring when I want to log onto vips. Thanks BOT RAT PACK Clowns.

Some have bid the MD or Airbus instead of the 777 because they can trade trips on the MD and Airbus to mitigate their juniority.
If you really want to be fair, changing open time now would necessitate a system rebid.

The login method has nothing to do with the use of BOTS. That two factor method was put in place for overall IT security. The use of the simple captcha codes for trip trading has been discontinued.

The two factor login was for IT security. Password + eGrid.
The CAPTCHA part of eGrid was because of bot users trying to login too often.

We need instantaneous trip trading or something that the company will accept due to the sub policy. As far as the Wolf Packs success, I think this is what they are doing: They immediately call crew skeds after putting in their OTP request and ask for it to be processed. Knowing that OTP trumps all normal requests, they get the trip. After getting the trip, they then call skeds again and ask to drop the OTP trip and pick it up at normal makeup. Now their OTP is refreshed. I know a few crew members that have successfully tried the OTP rinse/repeat method to get nice trips. The million dollar question is how they know when all these charter trips are hitting open time. Is one highly placed F/O in charters telling his buds the time/pairing number to look for? About 6 months ago I called military charters and they were told they could not give out any information, maybe someone else can verify and call charters. If enough crew members try calling skeds to immediately process your VIPs request, maybe others can get on some of these nice trips. Good Luck.

All the issues you guys are *****ing about here has to do with the LACK of transparency in day to day operations and special deals that only SOME folks get here ........ Those *******s that got to hide out for the AGE 65 rule and kept their seniority numbers are one case, the other *******s that float around here on special projects until they get well are another deal ...... special deals for the special *******s.
The only way to fix this kind of behavior is to CHANGE the culture and enforce it in the contract ...... There is no reason that oversight does not exist in flight scheduling ....... There should be an impartial and independent review of ALL bid line adjustments and assignments, period ......... You guys know what is wrong around here . Who has the balls to fix this ???
