Thanks. So if my brain is working correctly you could do Phenom SIC for a year, Phenom PIC for 2 years, then Challenger/Praetor PIC?

You can do that, yes. I believe that lateral moves between DRL airframes is not allowed (or was not) so you can't do Phenom 2 years, Praetor 3 years and then Challenger 3 years then back to Praetor etc. so just be cognizant of that when the time comes to have upgrade bids in to DRL. Also if you're interested in ILC upgrading into the Phenom puts you in better standing than remaining as an FO regardless of seat. Commanders are looking for pilots who have already upgraded when they're selecting their teams.

I should be clear, they will NOT waive upgrade to ILC from Praetor or Challenger, only Phenom-ILC. Also they can waive Phenom to DRL as of the last bid though it was within a month or 2 of seat lock expiration

I’m not happy thinking about commuting to MIA the rest of my life, I’m from MCO.
Could you guys tell me how is the flying days, is it a lonnng day ? And I heard the schedule is basically 7 on 7 off, is that correct ?
Thanks for tips

so year 1 Phenom FO ~$150k
What would year 2 and 3 Phenom Capt pay
year 4 Praetor Capt pay?
or if you can point me to the payscale if it’s available I’d appreciate it!
Are you Still doing 8/6 schedule?
im currently a Capt at a ULCC. I’m trying to find out the pay difference as I’d rather do the fractional flying in terms of enjoying my job. I’ve done the 121 gig for about 17 years but I had a short stint at Avantair back in the day and I love the corporate type of flying a lot more. I know the legacies pay more but it’s not all about the money for me.

They may not hire you because 121 pilots have a stigma as being lazy. At a fractional you'll be loading the bags, cleaning the cabin, briefing and helping the pax, staging catering, arranging transportation, etc. It's a lot more work which is fine if you're ok with that. Lots of airline guys are not used to hustling that much which is why fractionals don't like to hire them if they can avoid it in many cases. Broad generalizations here though.
Either way, over the long run at a legacy, you will make more money and work less.
Serious question, is a MCO to MIA commute that bad?
