The answer is 9. I know that they are conducting more phone interviews and that they intend to hire only 3-5 more this year due to lack of training slots. However, they intend to hire up to 40 next year.

Yes. You'd be responsible for ORD, MDW, DPA, PWK, UGN and maybe some others that I'm not sure of off the top of my head.

^^^Hmmm if you want the Emerald City, TMC may be a better choice. I am in the same boat-although I have no problem moving to one of Flex's gateways either. I just need the chance to tell them that.

They always claim that they are evaluating new base locations. Their evaluations are based on how much traffic they do through a given location. I've never heard them say that Seattle has ever been on any short list so I wouldn't plan on that one anytime soon.

Can someone expand on the 15 to 16 days per a bid period? Is that a continuous 15-16 days followed by 1-2 weeks off or what?

We bid a 28 day schedule, or bid period. Within those 28 days the average number of works day across the fleet is 16. Assuming a 16 day award, you'll work any combination of rotations of 4, 5, 6, 7, or even 8, if you bid for it. So, for example, a typical 16 day bid period may contain two 5 day trips and a 6 day to totaling 16. Or, you could do four 4 days or even two 8 days. But no, you will not work all the days that you are awarded all at once. The max is 8.

The minimum days off after rotations are as follows: 4 on 3 off, 5 on 3 off, 6 on 4 off, 7 on 5 off and 8 on 6 off. Sometimes more days off afterwards if you bid for and receive them but you'll never receive less than those days off, also, unless you bid for it.

We're currently pushing the company to consider making 4 day off stretches the minimum for 4 and 5 day trips, especially. We'll see.
