You are forgetting to add the 23 new hires (according to JD, the fleet chief pilot) not yet accounted for on the current list. The total ahead of anyone hired today is 199. My 200 number is spot on.

That’s a bit of an exaggeration. There are only about 575 pilots total.
Yes you are correct I took the original combined lists of and assumed we still had 750. My number of FO’s is incorrect but upgrades will still be years away.

Now down to 575 from 750! Think about how much we have shrunk!

Maybe so, I'm just going off the 31 Jan seniority list. Either way it's a looong time.

Default Aircraft assignment

Can any active or new hire guys say what aircraft new hires are getting? Some posts in other threads were saying they were only placing guys in the Phenom. Was wondering if anyone recently hired was placed into the challenger or legacy.

Really can't say what is going on here. They have new hires going into the Challengers and Legacys while there are SICs in the Phenom that can't bit out of the plane to make more money. A bid was announced for Phenom 300 SICs, but the fleet is over 60 pilots short. Green airplanes sit for weeks with no crews. If you need to build jet time and get a free type for low pay, this is the position for you! Also you will get good at calculating 10(Flight hours) in 24. Expect to fly 600 hours/year.

Just download the KiloLima app for 10/24. It works great.

I wouldn't waste my time there. A lot of other options are available. Read the post "Flexjet: one year in" it's a spot on assessment.

When you say options, do you mean other regional airlines and places like Frontier?

At this point in my career I have a strong interest in corporate or private flying. After 11 years at a regional with not much jet PIC, my options are very limited.
