Pretty rude, Hershey!
A fellow pilot came to you with a constructive suggestion, and you demean him/her with a snide remark. Heck, it's fortunate that Jesus' disciples used proper punctuation or you might not have taken them seriously either because their finger got hung while typing in their cell phone or ipad.
For every company apologist who says "if you don't like it here, just quit", I tell them "if you don't like what your Union is doing, then get involved." One of our best Union leaders was a staunch anti-ALPA guy.. Guess what? He made a huge difference in steering the contract talks and served his fellow pilots admirably; He is now a Teamster at Atlas. He eventually forgave ALPA when he saw what they did for our pilot group, during and after our Company was in business. If you don't like the way the things are going, then why don't you get involved instead of demeaning your fellow pilots who are volunteering their own personal time tor try to better all your pilots. Try it, you might like it.

That's a nice story, 727. I thought about getting involved with ALPA and maybe after the dust settles I will consider it again with the IBT. At this point in time though I cannot see myself working with them considering the current state of affairs. I've flown with a rep recently and we had some civil, constructive conversations. Something both sides could benefit from. If bjt was serious and not being facetious then thanks for the suggestion.

That would be an example of yelling on a post. 😃But notice the lack of exclamation points. They have nothing to do with yelling on post just that I was trying to emphasize the obvious, things that it seems most Flex pilots miss. Obvious things that have been explained from day one because of experience with our fearless leader.

Was that an overrun? It is my understanding they slid off a taxiway at an uncontrolled field when they encountered unreported black ice on the taxiway. 452FX had a metar report of 11 gusting to 18 knot tailwinds at a controlled field. They decided tthey ignore those tailwinds and land without arming their spoilers. One of those is reckless and careless, the other isn’t. If you can’t figure out the difference, maybe you should apply for a G450 position. You will fit right in...

I don’t want to be in the ILC program, their schedules are worse than what I get with the crappy PBS. Also, I won’t get to fly with you anymore if I go over there.

Prelim reports classify it as a runway excursion so, yeah, it might be classified as an overrun. My point is, you started a thread within 24 hours of 452 going off a runway, without all the details, talking about how bad the crew was for it. This happens and not a word, why would this be? It’s because this was another Phenom not a Gulfstream with a hated ILC crew.
