Remember, we don't bid by the month. We bid for four week blocks. The bid award comes out every fourth Friday. And when it does, from that day you can see eight weeks into your future until the next fourth Friday and then the next award comes out and so on and so on. Once you receive your award, the company cannot alter it in any way. They may send out an e-mail asking for extra coverage on certain days, however. There's also the option of working with Crew Planning if you need to move some days around. Flex has always been pretty good about that and the guy in control of it now is awesome at working things out so long as the coverage doesn't leave them hanging, such as on peak days when they expect a heavy demand of flying.

Probably been asked before, but a couple questions:
How many resumes on file (est.). Still looking at 40 new hires in 2014? How fast are the 115 new jets arriving and how many are they replacing? Whats the ratio of pilots to jets (APC shows about 5.5/1).
How senior is the DEN base?
Thanks in advance for the info.

•Resumes...last count a few weeks ago was 1,000
•Up to 60, the last I heard
•8 Lear 75's start showing up in July along with some Challengers. Beyond that, I'm not sure of the schedule
•Ratio is around 4 to 1
•Seniority plays no role in your base. You're free to live in any base that you choose
Here's the catch. It has been announced in the past day or so that we are going to interview furloughed Flight Options pilots first before they resume normal off the street hiring.
