Yes. Most of the CL and EMB guys stay put. The Phenom guys get the type and run.

Type ratings look pretty on resumes.

Default Wait for class

Just finished up the interview and got the offer this week. I was told mid May for indoc. So, about 3.5 mo the from JO to indoc. They said sometimes seats open up early, but not to count on it.
interview was a great experience. Overall the initial impression is a well run company with a lot of upsides.

What airplane? You have a backup plan? Waiting 3.5 months for a Phenom isnt ideal.

Default Don’t know airplane

They don’t tell you airplane until indoc. And never have only a Plan A...
The airplane type doesn’t determine pay until captain, so “only” getting a Phenom isn’t too high on my personal list of worries.
I smell what you’re stepping in, but there’s no way to know until class starts so I’m not worrying about what I can’t change.

Agreed. However, coming from someone who's in the phenom I wouldn't wait 3.5 for a phenom is all I am saying. Your back and attitude will thank you.

lol I appreciate the advice. Especially about my back. Mine is already pretty beat up from years of abusing it. I’ll see how life shakes out... not sure I’m built for part 121 so this job is extremely high on my list.
