Pretty sure direct entry into the international red label fleets isn’t something that you can expect to happen.

However, all the talk is coming full circle. Its honestly hard to watch. Hat in hand etc. The hiring folks have the same to say each time. I think the taste is still sour from the many, not saying you at all, that picked up and left without notice and then beat their chests on the way out and looked and spoke down on the operations in which they left. It it what it is. Rather unfortunate set of circumstances for both sides.

You and others keep saying this, but I never heard of anyone being ridiculed for staying at ______ (fill in the blank). Ok, maybe if you stayed at one of the bottom tiered regionals, but I have never heard an airline pilot talk down to a fractional, cargo, EMS... you name it. Never. Not once.

Current hiring freeze, was told from a friend who interviewed may 1, to anticipate an August class, not sure if that’s still the case or if they are still doing interviews. Training pay is 15.5x daily rate.

How are the health plans? At my current 135 for dependents to be on the plan is crazy expensive.

not sure where your friend heard August. They send out weekly updates and there’s no decision made on new hires.

I’m sure it was a pure estimate. I believe he actually interviewed April 1st, so COVID was relatively new at that point.

Looks like the application is still open on the website. Any ideas on if it would be a better idea to apply now and have the application in? Or wait till hiring starts up then send in the application?

Just lurking but buddy who cares? Just apply and let them say no.. Don't go on based what people say here.. Apply and let them decide. Plus the sooner the better if furloughs are coming. Good luck !
