Can anyone who WORKS AT FLEXJET provide an update of the morale at Flex and how they are poised to weather the rest of this virus situation? I can see on Flightaware there is still a fair amount of flying being done (obviously not as much as normal). Has there been any talks of downsizing, etc? What about all the new aircraft that were ordered?

From my understanding is that if your driving commute is under 12hrs the company expects you to drive to and from a hub in a rental. All time is paid period. Some guys in the way north west and east that are out of those driving ranges are being paid to stay at home. Flexjet management is doing an incredible job on keeping us safe with our new little internal airline, meal allowance and spraying all aircraft with a 360 micro shield. Flex is way ahead of the curve and in my opinion our management team is being super proactive. Let’s all be safe out there and support one another no matter whom we fly for.
So even If the aircraft is good, the FBO clean and Hotel room wipe down the transport link is the weak point.

That seems so excessive. Flights are empty right now. Just don’t touch anything and change your clothes before you get in your car then wash your clothes when you get home. Delta has been doing a good job cleaning seats and trays. You can wipe it down too.

The majority of the flights are empty, but tons are canceling on short notice. When those (and the next cancel) the flight you’re on is now close to full with smaller airplanes. Delta has always had the largest operation at my home airport (8 to ATL, 1 to DTW, all mainline) but hasn’t had a flight in here since Thursday with the next couple of flight not til Sunday. That traffic is now on 50 and 70 seat jets from AA and UA, and what were empty flights last week now only have a few empty seats.
After spending the week spraying down hotel rooms and socially distancing, I’d take the rental car too. Better schedule, better legroom and better “in flight” service too.

Last one they didn't hire any for exactly your statement. Bail at the first call back. I thought the airlines were the place to be? We all here at the 91k/135 were idiots and completely crazy for staying in this side of things. Bigger isn't always better. Lot of the na-sayers will be on the bread lines come October 1st. I hope that's not the case 1000%, I honestly dont want to see 30k plus pilota unemployed or anyone else for that matter. Maybe this will cull that argument for another good while.
