For the 300 about 22 months.
Benefits are very reasonable as far as insurance goes, HSA plan with a good company contribution.
HR would do a better job of explaining it all.
Great sounds good.

Default XO

I'm sure some go to XO (or other fractionals/corporate, etc) and make it a career stop, others move on to airlines.. what d most XO pilots tend to do?

I'm a current regional 121 FO who's upgrade time is just about here; my debate is to either upgrade at my current 121, then hope to get on down the road with a bigger company… or look into going to XO and either make it a career stop if it's a good place, or spend a few years there then look into a major 121.
When places like FedEx say they still require TPIC.. I assume they mean part 121 TPIC? Or does part 135 TPIC work for them as well?
My problem isn't that I don't know what I want to do.. it's that I want to do it all (lol!) I want to fly for XO and live that lifestyle and fly those planes.. but I also salivate everytime I see a FedEx or UPS MD-11 sitting on the ramp…
Getting TPIC 121 time at my current regional probably is the best course of action, I realize.. but getting out of the regional rat race would be nice - the relatively set schedule of XO definitely appeals to me;
I don't want to dash my chances of ever flying for a major 121, as that's still something I'd be interested in, but I can also see myself settling in at a place such as XO for the long term, especially if they treat their employees well.

Easy decision IMO. If you are close, stay and get PIC time at your regional. You will have more options later once you get the required PIC time.

Agreed. Stay for a year or so, get 1,000 hrs 121 turbine PIC then re-evaluate.

We have mix of lifers and people who want to do the airline thing. Many pilots here get hired by all the major airlines, as for myself, I don't have a four year degree so I am sticking it out here for the forseable future. We work hard but I think we have a great quality of life while on the road. Goodluck.

Default Training Contract

Very interested in XOJET, sounds like a great place to be.

Recently learned of a training contract that I hadn't been aware of previously. Is this a new thing, can anyone shed some light on this?
Thanks

Not new.
Different bond for each a/c. Challenger is higher, $26,000. One year. Becomes prorated after three months. If you quit within first three months, you basically pay for the type rating.

Many operators have training contracts. Very common when flying these type of aircraft for this type operation.
The training is required by the company for your job when you get hired.

Default Upgrade time?

I was wondering if you come in with 5000 hours jet time (CL-65, EMB-145, B747, B777) all SIC, but have turboprop PIC. Do they hire directly in the left seat or is it seniority based?
I started off in corporate and had a great time doing it. It sounds like a great company and a great job!

Thanks any help!

Not a current employee, but from what everyone has said, they only hire into the right seat and then it's anywhere from 18-24 months to the left depending on the airframe you're in (shorter time for the X vs 300). Hope that helps!
