Wow, haven't heard any of these stories until now.
I was actually offered an SIC position with them in November and ended up turning it down. They wanted me to start within less than 2 weeks of the interview and wouldn't extend it by 4 days so I could be in my best friend's wedding. That plus some bad feelings I got during the interview process led me to say no. Been doubting my decision lately seeing as I haven't found another job yet and almost sent them an email asking if they were still hiring. Really sounds like I dodged a bullet. Thanks for all the insight.

Things are going great! The plane and the company are both Excellent. My experience has been a blast and really fun adventure. Things change fast and continuously as is expected from the nature of the business. Home basing is the model and it is a dream versus fighting the Jumpseat Wars! 8 on and 6 off means we rotate out and back home on the same day each week unless you have a PTO request that changes it. Our rotation days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, so out on one of these and back home on the same one the next week. Just like anywhere there will be some long days and short overnights, but there are some short days and very cool overnights like TEX(Telluride) or BOC(Boca Raton) and everything in between! We go to places that the Airlines would literally be shaking in their boots to have to go into! One example is Eleuthera, Bahamas! Look at the runway pic on Airnav.com! Gnarly! The company is going Great financially! 12 airplanes now and 20 by the end of the year on our way to 60. First HondaJet Elite S is coming in a week or so! Don’t forget the announcement of being the first operator of the first all electric commercial airplane in the U.S. as the launch customer of the Bye Aerospace Company in 2025!

Can anyone comment on a typical day in the Phenom? Number of legs? Do they target 14 hour days? Always asking to extend the rotations? Fly you up to midnight the last day of rotations. In other words, are they the typical 135 operator?

I don’t fly for JetIt but that last sentence is hilariously ignorant. I’ve almost never ran into any of the situations you described except maybe being extended, but with OT pay on top.

No longer typical..
I don’t work for Jet It, but your description is no longer typical in today’s quality Part 135 Operations. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still no Part 121 with the Part 117 rules, but today’s quality part 135 operators have ASAP, defined rest periods, published and set schedules with no “junior manning” or involuntary extensions, and we have Fatigue Mitigation. There are still some Part 134 1/2 operations out there, but long gone are the illegal, pirate, “do-it-or-you’re-fired-because-pilots-are-a-dime-a-dozen” operators of the 1990’s, thanks to the pilot shortage killing them off. I’m not sure about Jet-It, with their good looking Honda Jets, but the negative description above doesn’t fit most quality and established Part 135 Operators like WUP, flyExclusive, etc., nor the Part 91K Fractionals like NetJets, XOJET, FlexJet, or PlaneSense.
