I recently spent a few days in the area and heard a lot of Chronos callsigns doing training. Not like a single annual check, like I was on with Portland approach for 3+ hours/day for 4 days and there was always at least one Chronos plane doing training. I deduced that there must have been a new hire class, which I was happy about, but it seems I guessed wrong. Back to bothering the HR lady each month with updated times.

All New Hire training and Captain upgrade training is done in simulators in Dallas or Denver. The only training in the aircraft are annual check rides and night landing recurrence. Even the Captain’s 6 month ride is being done in the simulator.

What tanker said. Also, annual 299 rides are also done in the airplane, also ngx training, also any "retraining". There's plenty of in-airplane training year round. The first new hire class in a while is in ground school right now, I believe.

PlaneSense flies where their owners want. They want to go to CO or CA, they go. It's more that the company is always looking to get more owners, not move into any kind of specific geographical market. But, more owners = more need for planes, which = need for more pilots. If you're interested apply. Good luck.
