Ground and schedule
The worst part? That's tough to nail down. Depends on what you're able to let go and not bother you. There are guys that complain about crew meals where some of us are happy to get a free meal at work. It's going to be personal preference for everyone. For me, it's when the schedule favors those pilots that complain the loudest and the rest of us pick up the pieces. Those folks end up making a name for themselves, so it all works out. Short overnights in nice places is another one but it's the nature of the beast, and it's nice to have paid-for micro vacations anyway. Keep a good perspective and there's not a lot wrong with this job at all.

Training is 3 weeks in Portsmouth and a week in the sims at Dallas. You'll either be week 1 or 2 and Tuesday or Wednesday start. Youll choose in order of seniority for wherever they need people. 8 on 6 off.
