I applied back in June at 750TT then again in September at 820TT. A week later I got scheduled for an October interview. Got a CJO a week after the interview and am scheduled for a January class date. I’ll probably be at 900TT by the time I start.

I recommend sending an updated resume every month or so to show you’re still interested. A cover letter helps too if you haven’t already added one.

Is one paid as an FO or Captain during this period?
I was hired over 4 years ago as a DEC and that is how they did it then. My initial training and checkride was as an FO (but paid as a Captain). After the checkride I did 3 rotations as an FO (again paid as a Captain) then entered the normal Captain upgrade program.

I submitted an app at the beginning of september with 770TT CFI CFII, been updating every 2 weeks and I'm now at over 1,000TT. Still no response yet. Think they have quite a few candidates already.

Thanks for the info. Would you mind sending me info on your interview process?

Are there any captains that go from planesense to a major like United?

I know that some have gone to Jet Blue and Southwest. Others may have gone to United, Delta or American I just personally don’t know.

Also, would anyone be able to shed light on training contract (if they have one), how much flying you can expect, etc.? Thanks.

I'm not up on the specifics of the contract except that it's only for FOs (no contract for upgrading to Captain) and it's payable if you leave before the end of the contract. However the amount owed is pro-rated and reduced for every month that you worked.
As for flying I'm part time (1 rotation per month) and I averaged 44 hours per month in 2022 (Jan-Nov).
