EAS isn't a career destination for most.
It's a stop along the road for most that gives the opportunity for experience in certain segments of aviation. The fact that people are moving on is exactly what you should want in this situation. It means movement within the industry. Get in, get the time and experience the job provides, and move on to the next step in your trek to whatever you consider your desired career destination.

You're either extremely lucky or have a friend in scheduling that is hooking you up. Life on the road at EAS is good, but you are making it sound like a paid vacation, which 95% of the time it isn't.

Truth. 9 times out of 10 the dude behind the rental car counter at the FBO looks more professional than EAS pilots. Now they actually provide company shirts that look pretty sharp, but don't let you wear them on many trips.

And don't get it twisted, I see you clowns begging to have GPU fees taken off your bill at the FBO right before you ask for a ride to the Red Roof Inn.
Total BS. Nobody, including the company, cares enough to argue over GPU fees. And nobody here rides the van since the company provides rental cars. The only begging I ever see at FBOs is our younger SICs trying to get the CSR's phone number.

Does EAS hire direct entry captains? I haven't seen a list recently of current openings if anybody happens to know.

Not sure where you are based at but I hardly wear anything other than the company provided polos.

Yeah because you probably live in Texas and you guys always seem to do what you want to do even if it says professional dress.

Fractional ownership provider Executive AirShare last week opened its new operations center in Wichita, Kansas. Twenty-five employees will occupy the new facility, which encompasses 27,000 sq ft of hangar space (a 35 percent increase) and has 7,000 sq ft of adjoining offices at the city's Col. James Jabara Airport (AAO).

“This move allows us to facilitate Wichita customers with greater efficiency and service. Wichita, as our first home, will always be an important location for us. This demonstrates that commitment to the market,” commented Executive AirShare CEO Harry Mitchel.
Please tell me this is a printing error and the KP is still the CEO.

Hopefully that hangar at AAO is sturdier than the last "new" hangar.
