Thanks for the quick reply! I have one follow up question. I'm currently at 1500 hours so I would be interested in an SIC position. Would they give me a PIC type and put me through ATP-CTP or do both of those thing wait until upgrade?

hey guys!! quick question.
I start indoc here in a week, and currently going over the study guide along with the GOM. Are there going to be written tests every day at indoc?
Anyone else starting indoc around the same time?

You would receive an SIC type. After 6 months you would get a second SIC type. Each has a one year training contract. Then at your year they would send you to an ATP-CTP class that puts you in another year long training contract. Then when you have the time to upgrade you will go to school for your PIC type and sign another year training contract.

Who actually agrees to these terms. That's so ridiculous. The problem is the low time guys that they sucker into this have no idea of how bad it is. You don't know what you don't know. In case you are reading this and think that it doesnt sound that bad because they are going to give you an SIC type, STOP. That is meaningless in the real world, and signing contracts every time you go to training for a company that needs you to fly airplanes is absurd.
