Can you pick up OT by flying days off? Is contracting allowed on your days off?

With the move to the 8/6 schedule, do you anticipate pilots spending less time at home during the 8 days on?
Good question! 15 PTB days for those on the 10/5, 12 PTB days for those on the 8/6. You start accruing PTB days upon hire, and can use them whenever you would like.

Like Runsky42 stated, you can pick-up extra days flying for us, or outside of EAS. I anticipate that the move to 8/6 will keep the pilots flying every day, with about half of those being overnights, settling at 10-12 nights away from home per month.

Is there a training contract for Captains or is it just for SICs?

That is incorrect you can NOT USE YOUR PTB DAYS HOW EVER YOU LIKE.
There are requirements you must follow to have PTB days off.

Pilots are required to take vacation adjacent to OFF days, or provide a minimum of 3 consecutive available days prior to and after the vacation.

Sooooo...if a pilot on 8/6 needs Days 3 and 4 off, how does that work?

You also don’t start accruing PTB until 30 days after hire

There is a 12 month contract regardless of seat for everything you do at EAS. Except for recurrent. Also a heads up to new SICs it states on the website they will pay for your CTP course but it is actually only if you upgrade.
And yes the PTB has restrictions to use it. Lots of guys getting denied time off even to be in family weddings. Mgmt says they are staffing well but on the other hand guys are struggling to get days off because they are short handed?!?

Thanks for the correction. PTB would be easier to use freely if that dang recruiter would just get enough pilots on the line!

Additionally, as an SIC you're going to be dual-qualified so you're training contract will essentially be for about 18 months, as you usually start out in the Phenom 100 and fly it for 6 months, then get additional training in the Phenom 300.
