We have ten sims operating right now. The new training center is opening this year with 18 sims and the capacity for 24.

There are massive plans to expand internationally.

The only real questions are will the economy hold out and allow them to execute their plans, and will we merge with another carrier.

I will probably be one who bypasses. Being a senior FO here is just too good.
Finny me boyo not to bust your bubble too much but my wife is a 9 year FO at SWA, she finds this thread very amusing, cheers , and may the good Lord hold you in the palm of his hand.

Right boyo whatever you say, the vast majority of the gents and ladies I share the cockpit with at NETJETS are realists, who don't fly tired, or with broken airplanes , so what is yer point?

Just asking a question. Why is our fatigue policy so important to us, and why does it get used so much?

I'm a realist, too. I use the fatigue policy because the company will schedule us to the point of exhaustion and sometimes we have to tell them "Hell no".

I look forward to meeting her, we're both based in the same city I believe.

Believe me, I get it. Most of my best friends are 18-20 year Captains here. Half are eternal optimists, half eternal pessimists. Like I said, there are too many variables to know. It's aviation after all, only time will tell.

I have actually worked at both companies though. I'll take the balloons and ponies offered by this place over the last any day.

I just finished a trip with a ten year Captain. Nice she will have options soon.

The Stockholm syndrome is strong in you my son. The FACTS tell another story. Fatigue calls are the highest they have been, ever. So it sounds like there are lots of pilots who agree that a day in the lift of an NJA pilot might be abusive.

Are we supposed to act like Des Moines is on the same level of a city as New York, Chicago, Dallas, Washington DC, or San Francisco? One of the best reasons to work at Netjets is because you want to live in Indianapolis, Birmingham, Albuquerque, etc and not have to commute. For people who live in major metropolitan areas, the value of not commuting can be negligible.

If you have kids and don't want to move or commute, go to NetJets.
If you want to live in a log cabin North Dakota, go to NetJets.
If you want to live downtown in a major city with 3 roommates, go to Netjets.

It cuts both ways.

Hasbrouck Heights is a lovely town with a fantastic population of highly educated people, and a wonderful night life...
