Spirit cancelled over 300 flights that week, 90 in one day. That's what got them in trouble, it was fast and furious. So it wasn't a small minority. Not to mention their union leaders were involved, because they were named in the TRO.

A majority of those flights were cancelled due to weather but were blamed on the pilots.

Our MEC has told us over and over again to maintiain the status quo. Everyone should be making their own decisions and in no way pressuring their peers into any kind of work action. This **** need to stop.

The TRO was hung on the NK pilots because of the website and the public shaming, NOT BECAUSE OF A FAILURE TO PICK UP OPEN/INCINTIVIZED TIME. Please do some research and learn the facts.

Nobody here is trying to incite or condone an illegal work action. What you are seeing is a handful of p!ssed off professionals who don't want to work voluntary overtime for a company that doesn't appreciate them. We are simply voicing our personal opinions about our jobs, just like any other career message board. I've never done a JA/VJA trip, so my "status quo" will maintain that. You guys are free to do whatever you want.

Spirit management lost $64M last May based on their own poor management combined with some seriously bad weather. They successfully blamed us (the pilots) when we had nothing to do with it and then convinced the NMB that it was fair to take that $64M right out of our contract. Then we voted for that garbage like a bunch of fools. See you all in 8 years when we will be right back where we were three months ago.

The judge that handed down our TRO didn’t even allow ALPA to speak to him before his decision. The company used pages and pages of threads from APC as evidence. A site anyone can post on including management and Ford and Harrison posing as pilots. The whole thing was a complete joke and a perfect example of how organized labor is viewed in this country these days. Also remember when speaking to scheduling you are being recorded. Don’t speak for the group when you don’t represent the group. Handle your business and be professional.

This.

Be normal, fly normal, act normal. Lots of management trolls on here now trying to incite anger and frustration.

We are on the 10 yard line. Save the party for the first day of the strike, which probably won’t even happen anyway.

Which 10 yard line?? At this point I’d say it’s our own 10 yard line... yea I’m p!ssed and frustrated and I’m getting tired of making these fools money... but if I take the emotion out of it, what evidence is out there that will lead me to believe we’ll get anything to vote on this year?? What evidence is there that we’ll have anything WORTH voting on this decade?? People keep showing up... people keep jumping on 40 hour 2 days... the worst part about it is the NMB will probably view the 50 or so out of 1200 that do these incentivized trips as the new status quo so now we’re painting ourselves into a corner and the majority of the group has zero say in it... then when the nmb doesn’t release us and people get truly p!ssed and MAYBE stop doing them, then we’ll get a tro slapped on us for not maintaining the norm... this pilot group is about as unified as this company is adept at running an airline... pretty much non existent

On paper we are unified. If you look at the actions of line guys we are anything but. Rolling wheelchairs, flying INC over the picket (including a new union rep), BROKEN planes that are not being written up. But you ask anyone and they will walk the line. BS.
