Hey APC... time to start getting serious about chasing the rats out of the kitchen. This sh!& is getting old real fast.

Sorry this is not twitter or your safe space. APC does not ban people for their opinion on industry topics. You sound ridiculous asking posters to be banned. It only weakens your argument.

There is no way anyone in a face to face public forum of F9 pilots who would stand up and say crap like “we should vote yes because it would be a raise for a regional guy.”

It works great. Butthert, Heisenberg, and Brickhut disappear just as quick as he/she appeared.

He said nothing about banning anyone. He was simply calling on pilots with backbones to expose and shine a light on the sniveling, yellow belly, selfish, un-unified, would-be-scab types. The anonymity here has allowed their type to keep places like F9 substandard and beholden to management, they deserve to be called out for what they are.

Just because I don't like someone's opinion does not mean that I have the right to silence them. Look man I don't like their views either but they have a right to be here as long as they operate under the terms of service of APC.
IMHO you could circumvent this by having everyone sign up for accounts with their employee number and then ignore anyone who doesn't do the same. Strengthen your argument instead of asking big brother to silence others. It will make you a wiser man

You youngsters need to get off this whole "silencing" people with whom you do not agree. I see this everywhere.

They should, however, be called out by every self respecting professional pilot for what they are.

Really? Sounds like you want them kicked off. I’m with lowcountryflyer. If you don’t like what you are hearing, change the channel, but don’t silence others. If flying doesn’t work out for you, I’m sure you could join the “hate” speech police at a local college campus.

F9 is CURRENTLY better than a regional. It is a stepping stone or a good backstop if a legacy never calls. The pay, even at industry bottom, WILL BE A LIVEABLE WAGE AND IS BETTER THAN ANY REGIONAL.
So pizzapilot, you are correct.
But you are VERY SHORT SIGHTED! If this TA passes, our QOL will be so diminished that, while the pay is better, it WILL be a worse job than a regional. We won’t be able to retain people and we are going to be stuck at the bottom of the industry for the rest of our careers.
We will not vote in this TA! Our goals are long term and you are doing a great disservice to our pilots at F9 by advocating that this TA should be passed.

Voting in this TA sets a precedent of pilots being on reserve perpetually. This TA goes from line bidding and positive phone contact (w/o the necessity to answer your phone during a trip or on an off day) to PBS w/ the requirement to contact CS if they contact you first. And, that contact can mean an update, a reroute or a complete change. There is the possibility to live on your phone w/ them or receive "consequences" for not doing so.
Why do you think mgt asked for these provisions - because they were happy w/ the previous? And if they get these, what do you think is planned for the next TA?
Right now, the ONLY major things in this contract that are better than XJT's contract are the wage and the 3.5 rig - just about everything else is worse...
