Then vote no and keep operating under your current contract...into perpetuity. NMB isn’t releasing you. If you’re willing to roll the dice to get what you think you deserve, then go that route. It may take years to get minimal gains in order to satisfy your expectations. Will it be worth it? That’s for you to decide.
If you believe you deserve a bottom of the industry contract, you will get it. If you believe you deserve more, you will get it. The vote will tell us what the group believes they deserve.

The defeatism in this group is strong. You will get exactly what you deserve through negotiations. It is up to you to decide what you deserve.

And if you accept a substandard contract now, you are setting the stage for substandard contracts moving forward. Every. Single. Cycle. Forever.
Go ahead and calculte the total loss of being last place in perpetuity over a 40 year career. This isn’t about the 18 months it “might” take for a TA2, this is about the FACT that voting in bottom to bottom offers puts you, you guessed it, at the bottom for as long as F9 decides to keep the group together.

I consider myself a moderate. (unlike all the bomb throwers here). It seems to me that since we compete for the same passengers as say United, Delta or American, we should get the same pay and benefits. For that reason, I'm voting no.
Send the negotiators back in and negotiate a competitive contract.
Hope this helps.

I’m not F9. I stated that in previous post. I’m a regional captain who has been following progress at F9 because I would like to work here. So you could say, yes I have a vested interest in what goes on here. And FWIW, I never even considered putting in an app while you guys were in a contract dispute. You guys need to put your tinfoil hats away. Just because someone disagrees with your opinion doesn't make them a ‘management troll’ lol.

We should get paid the same if not more due to our lack of career and QOL progression. At DL/AA/UA the narrow body crews have the option of moving into larger and better paying wide body aircraft. Those that stay in the NB fleet will enjoy a better QOL and seat progression as more senior crews move into the WB fleets. We're stuck in a single NB fleet with no WB progression, no QOL progression, and no retirements. A case could me made that we should be paid a premium over our counterparts due to our handicap.
Unfortunately, the NMB doesn't agree with my assessment nor your sentiment. They view us as discount pilots for discount airlines. At some point that cycle has got to be broken. We didn't break it at NK due to a whole host of reasons and I'll accept some of the blame for that as I hold a seniority number there. Whether you do or don't is entirely up to you and your fellow F9 pilots.
