Even if every one of us called them back under current book, it would still be our choice and therefore infinitely harder for them to abuse than will be our new TA. They are currently disincentivised to use reassignment to augment poor planning or low staffing. Soon they will have the tools to be sloppy and cheap. Get ready! If you think it won't happen, you havent worked for guys like Indigo before.

Now we know Chavez is either management or a wanna be. This is the same song Franke sang about American air travelers.
VOTE NO! We still have all the leverage! We’ll have a new deal by summer guaranteed! Don’t fall for anyone telling you anything different!
Cue the onslaught of usual suspects!
100% NO!!!

To some degree yes.
What’s interesting is that someone can make a valid point; something from history like management cancelling vacations or the fact that the TA puts all the pilot force on reserve once a sequence starts and the response is something akin to “Liar, liar pants on fire...”
There are definitely a ton of reasons to vote no. There is ONE to vote yes...
There are zero reasons to act childish

I agree. There are a lot of things that have happened that are wrong. I have not said this is a good contract once. I fact it’s substandard compared to Spirit. My problem is that the money lost in another round of negotiation is something I personally don’t think we can make up what would be lost. I was a No vote up till a few days ago when I ran my own numbers.
To each their own.

The same 5 people saying the same sh!t over and over. We get it; you’re a no vote. The management sucks, and your union fell short, but to vote this down and think you’re somehow gonna make huge gains on the next go-around is stupidity. You might make some small gains, but who knows how long until the next TA. Will those gains be worth it? I’d take it, and make damn certain you replace your union reps. Now you’re back in the game. Next time, go for huge gains. PS, the duration is a killer. Still scratching my head on wtf your union is thinking on that.

You’re losing a lot more by voting yes. If you can’t see that then you’ve made the right decision as far as you’re concerned and that’s what the company was counting on. I, and I hope at least 50.1% of the pilot group will reject this substandard mess and fight for a contract that is worthy of ratification. I truly believe we still have the upper hand and will get a new contract in short order. In fact I’d love to see Biffle’s face if this gets voted down. I’m sure they believe this is a slam dunk and are skipping into work with smiles on their faces knowing how well they played the NC and MEC. I bet their bonuses make our 75 mil look paltry by comparison.
