I knew airspeed sounded familiar but it never clicked! Holy crap I can’t believe “read the manual” Airspeed was at Frontier. I’ve followed his story for years on ppw.

I guess Shawn was ****ed I got to do cooler stuff than he did in the Air Force. Guess it kinda sucks to goto the academy and fly a desk after. It all worked out in the end. I'm making double what I would have made as an FO at F9 and fly way less. Life goes on.

System bid 2020-07 is out and if I'm reading this right.... No further reductions? Looks like we're technically "adding" 71 captain positions back as those return from COLA-35 with no reductions or seat displacements.

Thank you. There is tons more to the story and 90 percent of what's online is totally incorrect. As you know no one wants to read news unless it's interesting and unfortunately so much bs out their on the web to make it seem like a plot out of Homeland.

Some anonymous pilots called Shawn and said I was working for the CIA. The rest I won't get into here because I am sure it will be skewered by a few individuals on here who have it out for me even though I have no idea whom they are in real life, never met them, etc. No idea why, jealous maybe? Who knows

I'll just say the union not only gave bad advice but basically didn't do anything. The rep that I had said one single thing during the 2 hours and 20 mins I was in the meeting for. I could have been better served with a talking parrot.

Shawn the politician whom the union refers to as a bumbling idiot basically sweet talked me into thinking this was simply a conversation about my adventures in Africa when in fact they probably wanted to distance themselves because god forbid a totally legal, backed by Uncle Sam (provided proof of that as well) legit mercenary happened to be at the controls of an A320 OMG the horror.

And while brickhut liked to pm me all the time to tell me I'll never get hired at a US major the fact is even if that is as true I can say after my experience at F9 I don't really give a sxxt. I've done everything I wanted to in my career, got to see the entire world, snd help others. Flying at a major, especially a US isn't the end all in aviation.

I got treated way better at the airlines in China then I ever did here. I know they may seem preposterous , and for sure there are some garbage airlines there but mine was not like that at all. We had flight attendants that respected us , not 400 pound moon pigs with BLM pins. We didn't have a union but in my case didn't matter much anyway. We got paid more than any major airline here in the states for sure with the exception of the Delta A350 guys who were rumored to be making 7 figures at one point. And as for living Shenzhen and Hong Kong were some kick ass cities. I'll take an overnight in Beijing or Tokyo anytime over one in Cleveland or Vegas .
