Your quals look good to me and I’m sure the failure is a non-issue. From what I’ve heard these days it takes an internal rec or getting noticed at a hiring event (virtual or in person) which are admittedly rare these days. Follow the recruiting page on Facebook, interact with the recruiters, make intelligent comments, try to “attend” the next online event.
