You don’t get a second chance for a first impression. Between technology, benefits, communication , materials presentation and organization, sim issues, IOE issues, base assignments……a lot of new hires are wondering if this is the type of place they want to hang their hat long term.

Couldn’t agree more. Company needs to get there s*it together. A lot of room for improvement especially on the new hire side. The only reason a lot of us are here is because of the prospect of aggressive growth. If new guys keep bailing, that’s gonna be a hard plan to execute.

^ exactly. I got tired of being stuck on the bottom in DEN after 2 years, so I reactivated my airline apps and updated...DAL called the very next week and UAL the week after that. I'm sure I'm not an outlier. DAL, UAL, and SWA are going to hire 4,000+ next year! If we are going to grow even a tad staffing will be a major hurdle.
