Newhire and upgrades are running monthly still. Unless the company isn't telling us something.

We have a new hire class that started this week and upgrade starting in June (idk about other upgrade classes). But all CJO holders were sent an email saying no more classes until till the fall as of right now. Obviously this is subject to change but sounds like they want all hands on deck for the summer. Attrition is sky high though.

It's speculation on my part ,but judging by their actions I'd say they are running out of sim slots at least enough to account for attrition/new hires, upgrades and regular qualifications.(PCs and PTs) This is why they need AQP and the MCO training sims. AQP moves requal from 6 to 9(+?) months and MCO sims open up a lot of slots for the East coast bases. So less slots needed and more slots available.

Default CLE Base

What are the chances of getting the CLE base as a new hire? How long is upgrade in CLE? Is it mostly day trips out of there?

NH high.
upgrade could take 7 years at current delivery dates and depending on attrition.
every base is 80%~ day trips. So yes. Day trips likely.

Sims in MCO will have to be negotiated in the new contract or via LOA. That's a fact. This gives the union a tremendous amount of leverage to get a new CBA signed.

Why is that a fact?
