So they are doing day trips (back in base every night) and some are 2 days and back in base? Sorry just trying to make sure I understand this correctly.
I was hearing Frontier was going back to regular 4 days (not ending back up in base every night)

One night in a hotel (or for the junior crews, one DAY on a red-eye...)

This is for one base that is day turn heavy:

I was looking at either Orlando or Philly. I have some friends in both those cities, but I'm so used to 4 day trips and having hotels covered and then commuting home on day 4. Wasn't sure after reading this thread how I should plan. My wife and I are still excited about joining the team! Just need to figure out the commuting process. Currently in DFW

That is not for either of those bases.

In general your progression will look something like this....

Reserve awards for the least desirable period.... D (which is where red-eye callouts are handled.)
Reserve awards that are more desirable... A then C then long-call and then FDO, generally speaking.
Line awards heavy on red-eyes, red-eye turns and multi-day red-eyes.
Line awards with day turns and un-commutable multi-day trips.
You should see the progression here?

The variables are base seniority and whether the base is heavy on commuters.

What do you mean by 'stretch.' Because I just checked and what I said is 100% factual

Thanks for this! Hoping to be here and gain seniority quick!

Crossing our fingers that they may one day open a DFW domicile.

Maybe ORD will be better for me! A lot of flights from DFW to ORD as well. Was hoping on Orlando or Philly because I'd have a place to stay, but If I can't ever get back home might not be worth going to Orlando or Philly.
