Asking for a friend looking for info….what base at F9 has the most 3-4 day trips? What base is best for a Midwest commuter? Thanks.

Maybe should not publish that contact info?

It does make sense that with the 321XLRs coming they’ll probably do Hawaii to compete with all the other airlines at LAX.
I think the likely hood is very low for California. The taxes don’t exactly fit into the ULCC model. Also, It will be interesting to see what happens now that the Cali courts upheld that Cali employees are entitled to an hour long lunch break. I don’t have the link handy for the descent court case right now but it sounds messy for airlines.

XLR is a 9 hour airplane in a normal configuration. Probably 8 with the amount of people we would cram in. Hawaiian is already flying to LAS with a 321 but I can’t say for sure if it’s from Hawaii. AA is flying from PHX I’m pretty sure. If anything I would say we would fly from those bases and maybe offer flights from ONT or OAK but not require a base there.

But there’s always hope I suppose.

I admit I know very little regarding Hawaiians network and figured there was at least some domestic only flying. Looks like that flight is a service from OGG.

Our VP of commercial told my ground school class a year or two ago that they looked into labor issues in Cali and decided to not even look into a crew base there

A new seniority list came out today with basically no changes despite there being changes so I modified the way I tracked down the data to all ALPA data. It’s faster updates and more accurate. Only Captain data has been amended this time.

Something interesting…two lucky s.ouls o.n b.oard got to be captains based in DEN way ahead of what was expected. How long they can maintain that spot is anyones guess. Hopefully the eternal wait for Denver is starting to disappear.
