More experience than a 1-2 year RJ guy? Nice troll attempt. There's absolutely no way that will ever be true on a general level.

But, I hope we are in the right with this and it goes in our favor. That's very disconcerting. |

You must’ve missed his post where he talked about all the FTD time ERAU provides its graduates. He’s the real deal, these RJ guys don’t have a clue. /s

If thats the case then why are airlines looking to them to solve the pilot shortage? ER grads come out with more experience than a 1-2 year RJ guy. The education is second to none. That’s why they’re flowing from college to bigger airlines.

Are you implying that operating CRJ FTD’s in simulated 121 operational scenarios equates to “more experience” than someone flying actual CRJs in actual 121 operations?

not more experience but a different level. Focused more around abnormal situations. A FO may have more experience with successful engine starts, and pushbacks and such. But other than that most everything else can be replicated identically in a FTD. Minus full motion.

I was going to stay out of this because even though you are wrong, I felt like everyone was starting to gang up on you. I don’t know who has put all that in your head but man…do yourself a favor and even if you truly believe everything you are saying keep it to yourself when you are out on the line. Humble down a bit or life will hand you a dosis of humility when you least expect it.
