You’re the ones out here doing Captain’s work for First Officer pay. I didn’t create the pay scale, I’m just the one with the nerve to read it out loud.
But hey, if flying for a hobby paycheck is your thing… carry on.

Don’t get ****ed at me for pointing out the obvious.

Thing is, I expect to get a new contract here at some point. (Not holding my breath obviously or everyone below me would be moving up a number)
If the current pay rates were locked in until I retire, then yes, I would be working very hard to leave for united or delta. But that's not the case. We will catch up a good chunk of the way and I'll still get to keep my seniority and QOL. Win win for me. That's why I'm not leaving for united to be a junior gear slinger in a guppy I have to commute for.

Just to clarify:
United Airlines 8th-year 737 First Officer earns $255.47/hour with an 18% DC.
Frontier 8th-year Captain earns $242.59/hour with a 15% DC.
That means if you’re looking for a raise, you can get one by going to a legacy as a First Officer and swinging gear for the next decade. Factor in profit sharing, and Frontier Captains are making over 10% less than legacy FOs.

As an ALPA pilot there should be only one thing you’re concerned about with regards to current Frontier pilots. That’s pattern bargaining and hoping that Frontier pilots fight hard and knock it out of the park with our next contract.

They swear they made the right decision, come back here and constantly ****** on us every chance they get with how great it is and we should all do it to.
They don't understand how this works and have probably been in a union for 3 years of their 6 year career so far.

Totally agree with the frustration but don’t just vent here. Call your reps. Let them know directly that the membership expects more. We need visible pressure tactics like billboards, media outreach, and base-wide coordination.
If we sit back, we’re complicit in the union’s inaction. Make your voice heard and remind them: we’re not paying dues to be ignored. It’s time to turn up the heat.
Call your reps. Blow up their phones. Demand real action.

Don't forget 17% 401k contributions, versus Frontier 15%.
Circa 2022-2024, Delta was upgrading FO's to Capt in 2 years. AA had a 26 year old Captain, upgraded in ??? 2 years.
met a Spirit pilot a few weeks ago who declined a Delta CJO last year, because "he believed in Spirit and liked his schedule"
he told me he regretted his decision and just hopes things improve soon
good luck to all of us
