I have herd they are not enforceable now. I'm not in position to test that theory so I wouldn't advise any one else to. That said look at NK and ask your self " does this company have the cash to drag a bunch of people into court" From the hip I say no. I have been proven wrong many times though

Training contracts are not easily enforced…
training loan or bonds are…and that’s how they are setup here.

There is a current class action lawsuit against F9 for the $59,190 training contract.

F9 better bring out the big guns. If they loss that case man power is going to be in short supply. Maybe they will dual qualify Line Captains for 150% Cpt pay to fly the right seat. Hard to know what kind of mental gymnastics will need to happen to avoid paying a standard airbus wage.

Don't think it’s stopping people from leaving they just don’t want to pay them. Should be an interesting thing to observe though.

Sure. Or maybe they will pay them 66% when they fly right seat and call them Left seat qualified FOs.

Contractually CQFO are no allowed, I don't see anybody around here Captain wise flying right seat for any less than straight pay. Even straight pay is a stretch but for the extremally rare productive trip the math looks better.

Bach in the Regionals this was done but it required Captains to be right seat qualified. There was only a hand full where I worked which is why 150%. Our sister Airline was 200% at the time. TSA could scoot by with just a few. Go Jet not so much.

Didn't know you had that in the contract. SWA had LSQFOs that bid/paid as FOs, and could pick up CA trips at CA pay (Lance "captain"). But I think if F9 can't do anything like that they will downgrade before they pay captains anything extra to fly as FOs.

The downgrade one? Common sense? You name me a business that likes to overpay their people when they don't have to (management not included obviously)...
All of the 5 companies I have worked for have downgraded pilots when the had too many captains.
