Downgrading people would work about as well as it did at TSA or Go Jet. It would push people out the door faster. Exacerbating the problem. Companies that people want to work for can pull that crap. F9 is not one of those companies.

It is. Haven't heard anything that would say its going anyway either. Would love to know if our union is working on getting rid of it like other airlines have.

Is spending possibly 3 years at a major really THAT bad? What if you get stuck here forever, would it be better than where you are currently?

Depending on where you are... Idk if I would cancel an interview over a training contract. Where are you currently? regional? 135?

Do not come here.
We can put this right next to our "higher total compensation" "better base options" "fast seniority" (because we lose 30 a month), and "be green"
my mistake

I'm at OO currently, living in an outstation where their UAX service is the only option. That makes the family situation work pretty well. Not that it wouldn't at F9, but it'd take a while to get back there, and I'd never overnight at home again. I dunno. Feels dumb to even make the comparison but having to pay out $80k really weighs down the decision.
