I can guarantee with certainty that if you asked 100 Frontier pilots, 100 Frontier pilots would say go to Delta.

I hope that helps.

Just do everything in your power to make sure you get the job. They wouldn’t fly you in if they didn’t want you. So your job now is to convince them they made the right move. There is simply no comparison between a job at delta and a job at frontier.

It might not come together the way you want, but if you don't take that interview you will always wonder what could have happened. There is plenty of other flying gigs out there right now. Stay sharp and light on your feet and go for the touchdown. Don't settle for a field goal. You are not going to make it far fast without taking on some risk.
I agree with this.

You look at DocuNet short course 3 weeks ago?

I have no idea what you are talking about. If there was a new training program I wouldn’t know since I’m not in training.

Do the legacies do the same for our pilots when they are onboarded or are you just expected to learn their way? Unless there is a special short course specifically for them since they are almost turnkey pilots?

There is a "short" course for NK pilots - as the merger goes through, expect this to dominate hiring for the next 6-9 months and then it will die down. This is a GOOD thing for them and the company. As far as I'm concerned, NK pilots are our brothers/sisters and I would hope someone would welcome me if I were in the same position but I see it as neutral as I don't really care where we get our pilots from. Perhaps having pilots w/ prior experience will help OR maybe old habits are hard to break.

Bottom line - if ANYONE is waiting for lack of pilots to help expedite negotiations, prepare to be disappointed. There will be essentially an ENDLESS supply of pilots for the next couple of years as supply > demand (even with legacy retirements).

This is the concessionary LOA the Union just signed to help out management and allow them to run multiple new hire bids per month.

Like I said MM must be getting management bonuses as well as union flight pay loss.

DL guy here. Can’t speak for anyone else, but if you come from F9/NK and get a 320 at DL, you still do the full monthlong course. It’s dumb, but it’s always been that way. The only short course here is upgrading when already on the fleet, or going same-seat within any airbus (that’s new).

Glad to hear at least F9 gives a short course if you show up ‘current’.
