FWIW, did some further research... Found out that the formal reason for not hiring RAH guys is because of ongoing litigation, and that practice will continue until it's resolved (from the Chief Pilot) or at least that's the excuse they're using. They'll find a new one once that's over... Two CommutAir guys that apparently interviewed recently and will be in an F9 class soon were asked three or four times during their interviews if they've ever worked for any RAH certificate.... Guess I'll be holding out for JetBlue

[QUOTE=Machwon;1832184]I'm in the same boat. I put in my app on December 2, but it was the DFW job fair that made the difference. Met some great people and well worth the investment.

[QUOTE=dublinpup3;1832784]Thanks for the info, I'll be heading to a job fair in April. Hopefully it's not too late since I know senority is everything in this industry. Mind a PM when and if I ever get the call?

Frontier hired one former RAHer, but he had one more airline in between.
So your statement about "ever worked for rah" may not be correct.
Then again, we don't have anyone else picked up by F9.
I understand the concerned F9 pilots because "Midwest 8" left a bad taste in their mouth. Wish everyone got hired according to their qualifications, but it's an unfair world.
I wouldn't mind being a lifer in F9, in my interview there were some Air Force guys that thought F9 would have been a nice stepping stone. They got the nod, I didn't.
Oh well, 8 months and counting until I can reapply.

The IMSL (Integrated Master Seniority List) that you speak of is completely dead; I don't know how zooropa could have conveyed that better. I wouldn't 't waste another keystroke debating it, use the search function and you'll find it in this forum.
I can't speak to whether we're truly discriminating resumes with RAH employment listed, I'm not affiliated with the hiring process. If we are hiring RAH guys, they're seniority is the same as every other new hire. Period.

Any future Frontier employee (and past RAH or Midwest pilot) could file a lawsuit with a claim for my seat and their spot on the IMSL. Just like the Midwest 8 did when they got hired (the RAH that were hired at the same time did no such thing and are all fine, well liked, well respected employees at F9).
The Midwest 8 ruined it for any future Midwest or RAH pilots to be hired. Plain and simple. Actions have consequences. Lawsuits cost lots of money. The IBT also filed multiple lawsuits against FAPA and Frontier pilots. The IBT most likely has more lawsuits to file. It is my bet that we haven't heard the last from them.
So honestly, it is a slight gamble for a current Frontier pilot to have an RAH or Midwest pilot added to our seniority list. Plain and simple. Actions have consequences.
I am not part of the hiring process. But Frontier pilots just like myself are. Are they holding a grudge? Not at all. Are they being careful about some future action by an RAH employee or maybe the IBT? Possibly. I don't know. But that wouldn't surprise me. It is a reasonable concern. Actions have consequences.
The sad part is that I have good friends at RAH that would love to work at Frontier and I would love to help get hired. I know and trust these fine individuals. But I don't know and trust the 2000 others that were proudly wearing their yellow IBT lanyards during my darkest days as a Frontier pilot.

That IBT yellow card is an indestructible piece of plastic that houses the FDP numbers for quick reference. I, for one, do NOT wear it because I'm proud of being represented by IBT . From my chats with fellow RAH FOs, I would say all evidence is to the contrary......

Suddenly, as if by magic, thousands of RAH pilots were proud IBT members wearing the damn things. You could hardly find an RAH pilot without one, including all the RAH pilots occupying the DEN Frontier crew room.
This was all happening at the same time that hundreds of Frontier pilots were receiving registered mail from the IBT threatening termination if they didn't pay their IBT dues.

You obviously have self-aggrandizing tendencies. You forget that RAH was (and STILL is) in contract negotiations since 2007 and BB's chance to play in a bigger sandbox (and spend tremendous amounts of RAH money on it) left RAH pilots and that theoretical contract once again as only an afterthought. Those lanyards were handed out with zero comments from our EXCO regarding anything related to to F9 - they had nothing to do with you. The only rhetoric coming from the EXCO was related to RAH getting a better contract... Perhaps you recall the "we are one" pins RAH tossed to everyone for a while. That, plus no RAH contract was plenty of incentive for a yellow lanyard that would bring some RAH solidarity to the act of obtaining a contract that didn't (and doesn't) top out at $36.62 for FOs.
