I had 4 check ride failures during my primary training (embarrased to say)
No training failures during my professional career.

I was asked twice about check ride failures and I was brutally honest both times, no excuses.
I was asked if I thought there was a common theme to each event and what I learned from them.

I would highly recommend Lori Clark with Clark Consulting for interview prep. She knows Frontier but most importantly she will help you present YOU in the best way possible. If your a jerk then the best interview prep in the world won't help you.

What has the hiring been like over say the last 10 years? At my current 121 and probably like a lot of others from 08-11 there was virtually no hiring. I'm curious what the numbers have been like over at f9 with the bankruptcy and republic shenanigans?

 

Guys who lived it would know more, but just looking at the seniority list it looks like hiring was pretty consistent all the way through 2007, then it pretty much stopped. There was very little (maybe one small class) in 2008. No hiring I can detect in 2009 and 2010. Maybe another small class in 2011, and then nothing until this current wave that started in late 2013.

 

Sorry you have such insecurities regarding legacy pilots. Not all of us are perfect record, double master degree having "jerks".

 

Frontier filed for bankruptcy protection April 10, 2008 and was bought by Indigo from Republic on January 26, 2012.

You can fill in the hiring gaps with these dates.

 

I know and I didn't mean to offend anyone. My point is that Fontier is able to see a good guy and grab him, whereas the Legacy is, in my opinion, overly concerned with which boxes have been checked. Am I jealous? And is this how I make myself feel better? Maybe.

 

I don't think Sulk was implying EVERYONE with the legacies thinks this way.
