Does frontier reimburse the $600 for the iPad regardless of which model you buy? Do most get wifi only or data iPads?

You get a $600 stipend and can buy any approved iPad you want.

That's cool they let you keep the difference.
Do they send limitations/profiles before training starts so new hires can start memorizing beforehand?

I got the WIFI only and tether off of my phone. T-Mobile gives you 5 GB free, I'm not sure about other carriers. I would recommend getting at least 64 GB of storage. Capacity will be limited after you install the company required apps (Jepp, Comply, etc.) and you will want to have some extra entertainment available because nearly all of our hotels are in boring locations near the airport, which is a high priority to be rectified in the next contract.

Yes you can keep the difference. They give you 600 dollars in your second check wether you buy one or not.

You don't need to study before training. Just show up, pay attention, do what they say, study for an hour or two after class, and drink a beer or two before going to bed and you'll be fine.

THIS.

Do not study ahead of time. Do not study ahead in class. They will tell you what they want you to know, when you need to know. Easiest, most laid back training ever. Great training department.

A good attitude and a little bit of effort is all that is needed.
