A buddy up in Denver told me that they cancelled all the interviews today. The only problem is that they didn't tell the applicants. So they all showed up for no reason.

Did anyone else hear this?

They did cancel all the interviews. Apparently the recruiters have been playing catch up. I believe they are telling the candidates it's because they "needed the staffing for growth" and will resume when the "summer busy season" slows down. Any better insight then that?

That's so ghetto. Why didn't they interview the people and then put a stop to future ones? What kind of message does that send about Frontier?

If people don't have the "message" for current Frontier MGT by now - you never will. Frontier is a shell of its former self unfortunately.

There WILL be a strike before there is a new contract in place IMO.

Could someone answer a few questions for me please.

When does the health insurance begin for a new hire?
Does the company provide accommodation during training?
Does pay start from day 1 or is it a per diem only?
What base can a new hire expect, how long to hold LAS?

Thank you.

Not sure, no you're on your own for housing during initial training, first year pay from day 1 (no per diem) and LAS isn't even open yet. We have no date for when it will open at the moment.

While I'm not positive, it seems to me that health insurance policy becomes effective the 1st day of the month after you are hired i.e., if you started today, May 19th, your health insurance would become effective on Jun 1st. For some reason, that is sticking with me.
