I have a different opinion about focus.
I don't believe the main concern is the virus or what happens with that. I don't believe the big concern is 50 seaters versus 70 seaters versus scope. United has reasons to keep flying 50 seaters. 550s or 200s? A 200 costs about 300 per hour less per flight hour than a 550 on the lease payments, the 550 uses a little less gas I believe. Customers will like the 550 more. 300 per hour divided by 40 people is about 7.50 per passenger. Is that a big thing, you decide.
I believe the main concern every Gojet/Compass/(TSA pilot wondering where to go) pilot should have is, are the major airlines done doing business with the likes of HK? Delta is, it is over with Delta and they will never deal with TSH again. United is still working with TSH, but will it last? TSA told them, "we have no pilots, we can't fly the contract, it's your problem now." TSH has lots of pilots at Compass and not enough at TSA but can't move them? If I were United I'm be looking elsewhere because I could not rely on TSH. American?
TSH had big problems before the virus. The virus will just be making things happen quicker. Is TSH the place to be?

You are missing the whole point of adding 50-seaters though. They added the 550 because they couldn't add more 70-seaters due to scope and had the capacity to support a 50-seater at the time. now that load factors are dropping to nearly 0, they don't need the 'loophole' of the 550. I'm sorry, but Hulas is probably on the way out of the regional airline industry. Can you blame him?

I know that I am interested, and am close to submitting my application. I have 10 years of 121 experience, and have a CL-65 type. I don't know if that helps, but that is where I am. Would people from Trans States and Compass submit their applications to GoJet? Or, do you think that they would possibly look elsewhere?
As always, thank you for your input!

You mean TSA who has been flying on borrowed time since the AA birds went back to MQ? Or CPZ who had less than one year left on 20 MQ birds? GJT has a ten year deal and literally just signed a deal for 20 additional frames only weeks ago. Can this crisis get so bad that they have to walk away from it? Sure, but if it does literally NO ONE is safe at that point, on any list.
