While I admit that my thoughts there were a bit incoherent (i had a little problem from working on my motorcycle in an enclosed space and breathing some nasty vapors), I don't think the paragraph was illogical. The stigma surrounding GoJet benefits those who don't plan on moving on or have a secure job waiting for them eventually. Guys who are on the street with long careers ahead of them don't want the job because it may jeopardize their futures. They are losing out because of the stigma. What is illogical about that?

When you missed the interview the first time, what did you tell them in order to get another interview. Did you cry? Did you get on your knees?
It is fortunate or unfortunate that you got the "Thanks but No Thanks" letter. Had you gotten the job, right now you would be flying the shiny jet and defending how great of a company GoJet is.
If you thought that GoJet was scum, why even apply and send a cover letter begging.
I was interviewed by SkyWest and didn't get the job, but I have nothing against them.

That's a straw man question designed to obfuscate. I never said any of this was ok. The hypocrisy is especially not ok.

Any so-called "stigma" is conjured up by internet forum drama queens. To say that GJ pilots' futures are in jeopardy or that they're somehow "losing out" is playing into the forum dramatics. From trouble jumpseating to the cold shoulder in the hotel van from other regional crews to not getting jobs etc. is all BS. The ones that I know never experience what is claimed on these boards.
There is no stigma in the REAL world.

What truly is hypocrisy is when TSA guys talk about how GoJet is dragging the industry down. TSA has been the bottom feeder of the entire industry since the last 2000 years. When they took their job at TSA, they accepted an industry filth contract- knowing full well that they will never have a leading contract- EVER. If they thought they could change the ways of management they are either delusional, dumb or a liar. Then to turn around and lambast GoJet for being bottom feeders is ridiculous, I mean- REALLY?
The truth is, GoJet was going to be created with or without TSA's consent. It had to, it was the only way around the scope clause with American. The only thing you voted on was a single seniority list.... and you voted it down.
Good luck TSA, you are going to need it; your smear GoJet campaign has failed- get over it. It's really a shame that you didn't devote all that energy somewhere else, but you will never learn. There are literally THOUSANDS of applicants, from all different levels of airline backgrounds and experiences.
